Donnelly & Co. employs naturally farmed and regenerative practices to produce the purest and cleanest products possible, with the highest potency and terpene content. To achieve this, we always use organic inputs and farm with regenerative practices, closing as many loops as possible on our farm. We compost our green waste, including pruning and shredding the stalks of our cannabis plants, and utilize our animal manure in large compost piles that will be fed back to our plants and the land. We attract natural wildlife with bat and owl houses and irrigate from a living pond. We also utilize our chickens and goats to graze our cover-cropped rows throughout the winter, adding organic manure and key nutrients back to our soil.

We use a variety of living soil composting methods, including Jadam, Korean natural farming, cover cropping, and heavy mulching, which enable us to till our soil only once. These practices, combined, create a living biome and a diverse ecosystem where we farm with nature, not against it. Our pest control methods include releasing predatory bugs, which allow us to use zero pesticides in our growing practices. Creating a healthy Ecosystem and introducing predatory bugs also enables us to use zero pesticides in our growing practices, ensuring the cleanest product possible.

Ryan Donnelly has studied the production of plant ferments and nutrients, along with compost teas and extracts, to feed not only our plants but also microbial life-boosting bacteria and fungi, creating a living ecosystem. Creating Fish amino acids and fish hydrolysate from deep-sea fish caught off the Mendocino coast, and Lactic acid bacteria to aid in the production of many of our ferments and hydrolysate. These ferments, along with composting and breeding indigenous microorganisms, create the cleanest, purest, naturally farmed Cannabis products on the planet.
